After several years of conservative celebration of KASANGGAYAHAN,the Festival this year will already be managed by a private organization with open-minded officers. The SORSOGANON KITA INC. headed by Mr. Michael Sulit initiated this move probably motivated by a fact that Sorsogon Province is far behind as far as festival activity is concerned.
As repeatedly emphasized by this representation, KASANGGYAHAN FESTIVAL needs men who can adopt innovation and create linkages to maximize the impact of this activity to tourism potentials of this province.Sadly, it took several years before SORSOGANON KITA voiced out to lead the KASANGGAYAHAN CELEBRATION. It should have been done years ago.So that by now, we can already compete with other popular festivals in the country.
The secret of success of any occasion is putting right men with the right motivation and presto...it will be a successful event.
I can frankly tell you that SORSOGANON KITA had the men who are young, energetic, progressive, innovative and open-minded who can manage and run this event successfully.
I can also say that with all the preparations they are doing now, this will be a great new beginning for modern FESTIVAL celebration in the PROVINCE OF SORSOGON.
