LITERACY PROGRAM IN SORSOGON CITY REVIEWED

In her desire to come up with doable and sustainable programs and projects on Literacy, Mayor Sally Lee called on the Literacy Stakeholders and ALS Grantees for a year-end assessment and evaluation of the program.
The said activity was aimed at  improving the services on literacy and education and reach out those in far flung barangays.

In her statement, she assured them of her 101 support to literacy programs including the 2-year educational assistance Grant for passers of Accreditation and Equivalency test.  She further said that if there are passers who are deserving to become City Scholars, they must be encouraged to take the qualifying exams so that they may be able to continue their 4-year course in College.
